Part II Strategic Use of the Keyword Generation Tool
After deciding on the niche skeleton keywords and keyword phrases with the help of your full version keyword generation tool, now is time to map these gold nuggets into your articles and websites or PPC ads.
Part I has covered briefly on mapping these keywords into your websites, actually prior to that you should also consider registering your domain name with the consideration of your keywords. For more details on how to register a domain name, please click here.
Research shows a typical searcher often uses longer queries when they type a keyword in the search engines. Many searches contain more than three words. Your keyword analysis tool should be able to give you a full picture and more in depth story of about this.
If you are doing articles marketing then simply focus on one keyword phrase in one article only, and repeat this keyword in the title, beginning of the first paragraph and at least a few times with slight change of order of the wording in the following paragraphs. But remember; focus on only one keyword phrase in one article. Many article writing guides encourage you to write at least five articles on one selected niche, with each article focusing on a single keyword phrase, you may consider this strategy if you have enough time.
If you are planning on a PPC campaign on Google or other main search engines, using long tailed keyword phrases will not only save you money but also bring you targeted buyers. Invest your money in a good keyword search tool instead of fiddling with several free keyword suggestion tools here and there, will ensure your success in the long run. Trust me this is the only way to your survival unless you can’t care less about your financial future. Don’t be a fool like I used to, when someone tells me there is a brick wall, I sniff and bang my head fully on it then realize it’s actually a brick wall.
PART III Keywords Related Marketing Myth
Using a keyword generation tool to discover hidden profitable keyword phrases is a must do. But don’t get sucked into the complicated realm of keyword density and all that. Keyword density is a proportion of the searched term (keyword or key phrase) against the whole words written on a given page. The ideal Keyword Density is 6%-8% as a general guideline but various search engines have various tolerance levels before their filters get triggered. Higher keyword density does help to boost a page’s ranking. But do not get obsessed with sticking your keyword phrases into your articles and make the article awful to read, respect your readers and they will love you back.
The secret of writing high quality and readability articles and having successful key phrase mapping at the same time is to write first, and map key phrases later. Remember your customers are human beings, search engines are only a media to bring you to each other.
If these two conflict each other, your readers always come first.
Some SEO books show you complicated formula in calculating KEI, KOI, talk about Google sandbox and redundant content and all that, I encourage you to fully understand the basics and that shall take you a long way.
Once again, thanks for reading through and if you have any questions just fill in the comment below and I will get back to you once I read them.
